This course consists of six interactive discussion workshops, run by Cindy Gordon and Julie Porter-Stephens, two facilitators experienced in working with Families with Gifted Children, who are also parents of Gifted Children.

Session Topics: 1. About Being Gifted; 2. Living with Emotional Intensity; 3. Parenting Gifted Children; 4. Boosting Motivation; 5. Building Relationships: 6. Becoming an Advocate.

This course has been developed for parents with Gifted Children aged up to 12 years. In particular, it is aimed at parents who want to:

• Gain insight that will help them to better understand their own Gifted child.
• Share their experiences with other parents who understand;.
• Discover practical strategies to help them parent their own Gifted child more effectively.

Sessions will be held at held at the NSWAGTC Resource Centre, inside the grounds of Hilltop Road Public School, 81 Hilltop Road, Merrylands. 2160. (Holroyd LGA).

Cost: (ncludes course, pre-reading material, handouts and light refreshments).

Non Member $150.00

Please Note: Children do not attend our Course for Parents.
